Clay Sculpture Meets Function

Growing up in an artistic family, Lorrie Goss originally attended Grand Valley State University for her BA degree in Art.

She had taken a  3-D sculptural design class which changed her direction completely. From that one class she began to incorporate design, with water fountains.  She creates original fountains and sculptural and garden pieces that can be placed in any location throughout the home or office which includes pools or lanais, or any garden setting.

By 2011, she had accumulated more equipment , prompting an expansion of her own clay studio at her home in Port St. Lucie, Florida, While it took some time to get the studio up and running, her name and work received more notice, Her work can be seen at art galleries at Clay Habit Studio , in Jensen Beach, Florida, Original Elements Gallery in Tequesta, Florida and Marker 23 Gallery  in Port Salerno, Florida.

Today, with the business Clay Fine Arts she devotes her time between the ceramic studio and attending art shows and galleries in towns throughout  Florida. Her background in design and bright personality allow her to produce works that are as functional as they are original, custom, captivating and joyful

Lorrie was recently showcased in the Sandpiper Bay Neighbors Magazine April 2016 edition as a ceramic sculptural artist along with her husband Ken. She was also showcased in Vero Beach Magazine as the featured artist at Main Street Studio and Gallery.

She received 1st Place awards at the Indian River Birding Festival and the Hibiscus Festival Art and Fine Craft Show
